We met Stefanie and Hannes in South America in 2018. At the time, both of our couples were traveling along the Pan-American Highway in camper vans. Our paths kept crossing, and eventually, we traveled several stretches together. When their T4 broke down due to a burst radiator hose, the four of us piled into our Sprinter and drove all the way to Machu Picchu—an experience that creates a lifelong bond!

A few years later, I had the privilege of photographing their wedding—and what a wedding it was! Instead of a classic celebration, the two decided on their very own wedding festival: featuring live bands, DJs, street food, and incredible attention to detail. After the civil ceremony at the Old Town Hall in Antwerp, the celebration continued in an open field—complete with a marquee, fairy lights, and an exuberant atmosphere.

From the couple’s photoshoot during the golden hour to the last song in the early morning hours—it was a day full of music, emotion, and pure joy. Thank you both for letting me be a part of your adventure.
