Choosing the right location is one of the most important steps in your planning. A mountain wedding often takes place across several spots – the registry office, the celebration, and the couple’s photoshoot. Consider questions such as:

• How much time do we have at different points of the day?

• Is the location easily accessible for our guests?

• Where will we find the best light for our couple’s photoshoot?

In Oberstdorf, popular venues for civil ceremonies include the "Blauer Salon" in the "Königliches Jagdhaus" (Royal Hunting Lodge, the Local Heritage Museum, )or even the ski jump. The photoshoot itself can take place on the Nebelhorn, Fellhorn, or Söllereck, in the valley with mountain views (e.g., at the Moorweiher), or in villages like Rubi.

Additionally, numerous mountain huts and alpine meadows offer the perfect backdrop for symbolic ceremonies or celebrations.

As you can see – the possibilities are endless! I am happy to advise you personally on which locations are best suited for your ceremony, celebration, or photoshoot.
