A German-Spanish wedding at Dennenlohe Castle
I already knew Carina and Jorge from two other weddings I’d had the pleasure of photographing. Since 2020, this was already the third wedding within their circle of friends—which made it even more special to see so many familiar faces again throughout the day.
This time, the wedding took place at Schloss Dennenlohe, a dreamlike location southwest of Nuremberg. A deeply emotional secular ceremony was held in the magnificent palace gardens.
As a German-Spanish couple, Carina and Jorge held their ceremony bilingually with the help of a translator. It was particularly moving to see Spanish wedding traditions woven in—such as binding their rings with a cord as a symbol of their deep connection.
Following the ceremony, we headed off for the couple’s photoshoot before moving into a lovingly restored barn house that had been transformed into a beautiful celebration space.
It was a day full of emotion, ease, and joy—filled with love, a relaxed atmosphere, and wonderful moments. Thank you, Carina and Jorge, for letting me accompany you—and hopefully, I'll see you again next time!
